Week 8: Take the Stage!

LIGHTS! CAMERA! ACTION! It's not a act, week 8 is here! As always we're so thrilled that you will be joining us for Camp Global. Our weekly newsletter will be sent to you every week of camp to keep you apprised of the upcoming events and reminders for the next week.



Friendly Reminders:


  • This week are field trip is on Friday! We are going to DC, please be sure to have your camper to camp no later that 9AM.

  • Beall families Camp Global pick-up and drop will take back at the APR entrance.

  • Gibbs families, Camp Global's entrance will continue to take place at the side entrance of the school adjacent to the soccer field. In efforts to not block building service please do not park in front of the chained-off area in the parking lot. You may park in available parking spaces in the parking lot, on the side street, and the playground parking lot across the street.

Tuesday August 9 - Pool Trip

  • Arrive at 9:30 am to make it in time for the bus

  • Please send children in their bathing suits.

  • Bring a bag labeled with a labeled towel

  • Labeled bag lunch, snack(s), and a labeled bottle of water.

  • A change of clothes

  • Please remember to apply sunscreen on your child before camp and leave a labeled bottle for us to reapply later in the day.

Thursday: August 12 - Frida and Diego Mexican Genius Interactive Art Exhibit

  • Arrive at 9:00 am to make it in time for the bus

  • Be sure your camper comes in their camp shirt.

  • Labeled bag lunch, snack(s), and a labeled bottle of water.

  • Please remember to apply sunscreen on your child before camp and leave a labeled bottle for us to refill later in the day.

*If you miss the bus you will need to bring your child to the location and notify the Director as well.


Charades Live!

At Camp Global, charades come to life on Friday, August 12th! Dress up as an object, person, or concept of your choosing, and watch as your fellow campers take turns guessing what you might be!


Lunch Reminders:

  • Please pack a lunch that does not need to be refrigerated or heated.

  • Global is “peanut-free” and we strive to be a completely “nut-free zone.”

  • Be sure to send your camper with a labeled water bottle for the day.

  • Global will provide AM & PM snacks, you may pack your camper additional snacks if needed.

This summer we are collecting the following materials for some super fun crafts and science projects:

  • Water/ soda bottles (all sizes)

  • Toilet/ paper towel rolls

  • Egg cartons

  • Newspapers/ magazines

Tuition:


Tuition for Camp Global is $355 per week which is to be paid in full by the Thursday prior to the start of every week of Camp Global. For example, the first tuition payment must be made on June 16th, the Thursday prior to the first day of camp, June 21st. This process is to be repeated until the end of Camp Global’s Summer session.
