Camp Global: Week 3

Summer is flying! We can't believe its already Week 3! As always we're so thrilled that you will be joining us for Camp Global. Our mission has always remained the same: to provide the safest, most stimulating, challenging, and enjoyable summer day camp experience---one that enriches the whole child based on Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligence philosophy.


Below you will find all the necessary information for Week 3: PARTY IN THE USA!

Friendly Reminders: 

  • Due to Independence Day, camp will be closed on Monday, July 4th.  

  • MCPS Summer School begins on July 6th, if your camper will be attending summer camp, please check with a site director to ensure your child is on the roster.

  • Beall families Camp Global pick-up and drop will take place at Beall's playground entrance.

  • Gibbs families, Camp Global's entrance will continue to take place at the side entrance of the school adjacent to the soccer field. 

July 5th - Pool Trip

  • Arrive at 9:30 am to make it in time for the bus

  • Please send children in their bathing suits.

  • Bring a bag labeled with a labeled towel

  • Labeled bag lunch, snack(s), and a labeled bottle of water.

  • A change of clothes

  • Please remember to apply sunscreen on your child before camp and leave a labeled bottle for us to reapply later in the day.

July 7th: Bowl America

  • Arrive at 9:00 am to make it in time for the bus

  • Labeled bag lunch, snack(s), and a labeled bottle of water.

  • Comfortable walking shoes

  • Please remember to apply sunscreen on your child before camp and leave a labeled bottle for us to reapply later in the day.

*If you miss the bus you will need to bring your child to the location and notify the Director as well.

Fun Friday Theme: Red, White, and Blue!

Show up to Camp Global in your best red, white, and blue outfit! Don’t be afraid to stand out with glitter, stickers, and whatever accessories you’ve been saving for the occasion!


Lunch Reminders:

  • Please pack a lunch that does not need to be refrigerated or heated.

  • Global is “peanut-free” and we strive to be a completely “nut-free zone.”

  • Be sure to send your camper with a labeled water bottle for the day.

  • Global will provide AM & PM snacks, you may pack your camper additional snacks if needed.

Tuition:

Tuition for Camp Global is $355 per week which is to be paid in full by the Thursday prior to the start of every week of Camp Global. For example, the first tuition payment must be made on June 16th, the Thursday prior to the first day of camp, June 21st. This process is to be repeated until the end of Camp Global’s Summer session.
