School Year Programs
Global Children's Center provides before- and after- school care at thirteen elementary schools across Montgomery County.
Our program offers a balanced mix of fun and learning so children stay engaged while building important skills.
Overview
Ages: 5 - 13 (Kindergarten - Fifth Grade)
Location: We operate within MCPS school buildings.
Hours:
Drop-Off: 6:30 AM
Pick-Up: 6:30 PM
All Global locations open at 6:30 AM and operate until school begins. We re-open at school dismissal and close at 6:30 PM.
Learning Environment & Materials
At Global Children’s Center, we believe in creating environments where every child can thrive. Our programs are thoughtfully designed to support each child’s development through age-appropriate activities and materials.

We are inspired by Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences, which recognizes that children learn in different ways. That's why we’ve created “Learning Zones” that support a variety of skills, interests, and intelligences.
Each site features eight dynamic zones, labeled for easy visibility by children and families. These zones appear every morning and afternoon at all of our locations and include:

Tuition
At Global Children’s Center, we believe quality child care should be both dependable and accessible. We offer flexible care options and competitive tuition rates designed to meet the needs of today’s families. Explore our rates below to find the care option that works best for your family.
Tuition is based on your child's contracted schedule, not actual attendance. As long as your child remains officially enrolled, tuition is due regardless of attendance.
Registration
Step 1: Register
Registration for the 2026 – 2027 school year opens on April 16th, 2026.
Families may continue to enroll online for the current school year as space permits by location.
Step 2: Complete and Upload Enrollment Form for each registered child.
Step 3: Confirm with our Tuition Team.
Enrollment Forms
Before your child can attend care, certain required forms must be submitted. At a minimum, the starred forms must be completed before attendance is allowed.
The following forms must be:

Printed and handed to the director at your child's school on the first day of care.

Must be submitted online by uploading them below or emailing them to our team at wecare@globalchildrenscenter.com.
Please include your child's first and last name, along with the school they will be attending in the subject line.

Medication Authorization Form
Only needed if your child has medication(s) they have to take while in care at Global. For the safety of all children at Global Children's Center, it is mandatory that if your child requires life-saving medication such as Epi pens, inhalers, or any other emergency medication, you provide us with a supply. During Global hours, access to the school's nurse's is not be available.
